In the sequel to The Loose End, we revisit the lives of Renee Lawson, Bradsen Myers, Kayron Hawkins, and Sabrina Brown. Renee finds herself staring her decisions in the face the selfishness of dating a married man for four years and the foolishness of pushing away another who offered true love. Meanwhile, Bradsen is attempting to cope after being rejected by Renee. The happiness he’s forced to witness from his soon-to-be-wed twin brother and business partner only accelerates the pain he's feeling. Kayron is not so happy with life after the hurt he’d caused Renee and his wife comes back tenfold. Not only is he fighting for his marriage, he also finds himself in a life-threatening situation. Through all of the confusion and emotional turmoil, Sabrina is enjoying her newly found secret love affair. Will the others be as lucky as Sabrina? Or will they allow the past to tangle the threads that mend?

First, I loved the cover and would have probably bought it off the bookshelf without reading reviews.For a new writer, Tesa Erven is good at writing in a manner that allows the reader to accept her characters' faults without being too judgemental. I especially liked getting a glimpse into the feelings of those hurt by the careless disregard of the lead characters. It was interesting to find out whether Kayron and Rene would be able to redeem themselves.
The author did a great job in getting the sequel out so soon after Loose Ends. I love series, but lose interest when there's a long wait for the next.
I enjoyed the quick read and would recommend to others.

Tesa Erven knocked it out of the park with this series. When a writer can transform you with words that make you feel as an active participant-observer, then they are a damn good writer! The series leaves you wanting more and wondering what is coming next. I can't wait to see what her next book brings. Don't sleep on this series!!
The author did great..love the plot
Read book 2 and now looking forward to 3. It was good visiting characters from the first story. Ms. Erven had me turning pages and going back saying what. Great short read. You can't go wrong. For a new author Ms. Ervin is on it.
Another great read by Tesa Erven. Although the book was short and sweet it held my attention the entire time. When I reached the end I was looking for more. Can't wait for book 3. Great Job Tesa
Oh my. Author Tesa has son it again! I have enjoyed the second installment just as much as I enjoyed the first. Author Tesa excell's in keeping the reader attention and drawing us into the characters as if we know them. I am off to read part three. Well done Tesa.
I read book one and had to read the second installment. I wasn't disappointed either because the story picked up exactly where the previous one left off. If you're a series lover, please give this one a try. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Threads that Mend (The Loose End Book 2) was a quick and exhilarating read. Having read the first book in the series, I was glad to catch up on the lives of some of the characters. Happy to report that I was happy with the storyline and that the author was on point.
The book held my attention from the beginning to the end. I was on pins and needles wondering if Renee would accept Bradsen’s love, and if Kayron would find a way back from his foolish ways to win the affection of his wife. I don’t want to let out too much, but suffice to say, now I have a much better understanding of the history and musings of these couples.
